STONE SOUR: New Video Interview With SHAWN ECONOMAKI

November 22, 2010

More-Metal.com conducted an interview with STONE SOUR bassist Shawn Economaki on October 22, 2010 at the Columbia Club in Berlin, Germany. You can now watch the chat below.

STONE SOUR's "Digital (Did You Tell)" video, which made its online debut earlier in the month, was directed by Paul R. Brown, who previously worked with the band on the "30/30-150", "Say You'll Haunt Me" and "Hesistate" clips as well as on videos from SLIPKNOT, MÖTLEY CRÜE, KORN, GODSMACK and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, among others. Asked about the track's lyrical content, Taylor said, "It's basically about the isolation of the digital age where more and more people are afraid to come out of their bubble, more and more people are afraid to come out of their cocoon. They'd rather sit in front of an electric screen and pour their hate or pour their emotions anonymously into the world."

"Digital (Did You Tell)" comes off STONE SOUR's third album, "Audio Secrecy", which was released on September 7 and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard album chart, selling 46,000 copies in its first week of release.

STONE SOUR, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD will join forces for "The Nightmare After Christmas" tour in January/February.
